about us
We are committed to helping families who are facing challenges related to socio-economic imbalance, poverty, racial inequality, the aftermath of abuse, domestic violence, substance misuse, and mental illness.
One of the ways we do that is by ensuring that all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to the joy of playing sports.

effects of Inequality
Parents experiencing social inequality are disproportionately affected by domestic violence and have much higher rates of interaction with child protective services.
They face increased risks of mental illness and often lack access to the essential supports required to provide a stable environment for their children.
This combination of factors exacerbates their challenges, creating a cycle of hardship and instability.

How We
make a difference
We offer various programs for children who face this very unfair disadvantage.
Sports bring boundless joy and empowerment to children. Through teamwork, discipline, and the sheer thrill of physical play, kids radiate with confidence, nurture essential life skills, and forge cherished friendships that brighten their days.
The expense of enrolling a child in organized sports is climbing steadily. This surge, combined with skyrocketing inflation, has left a staggering 44% of Canadian families unable to afford it.
Simplifying sibling Schedules
Enrolling siblings of different ages in sports is challenging for parents. It requires juggling multiple schedules and travelling to numerous locations each week.
Lower-income families often have more children and rely on public transit.
By catering to multiple age groups, our programs significantly simplify this process, allowing parents to eliminate the stress of constant travel and ensure their children can benefit from athletic participation.

Confidentiality
To uphold privacy and safety, we refrain from publicly listing our program locations on our website.
Access to programs, program details and registration is limited to athletes and families who have completed the referral process.
This precautionary measure creates a secure environment where parents can confidently enroll their children in our sports programs, knowing they are protected from potential risks and unexpected encounters.
Whether you are in the midst of family court proceedings, victims of domestic violence, or facing similar challenges, we understand specific vulnerabilities are significantly higher in certain communities, necessitating heightened awareness and support.

Partners
Our organization is dedicated to prioritizing families in need, which is why we operate on a referral basis recommended by social workers and counselors.
This ensures that our support reaches those who require it most, including families navigating challenges such as economic stress, a lack of emotional support, food insecurity or community safety following violence from a former partner.

Team
We are a small dedicated group of athletes, who joined forces and combined our own positive personal experiences in athletics with a deep-seated commitment to social equity to form a non-profit sports league tailored specifically for economically disadvantaged youth within our community.
Philosophy
With a structured approach, we provide comprehensive coaching, access to equipment, and utilization of facilities, all underpinned by a steadfast ethos of empathy and support. Our objective transcends mere athletic instruction; rather, it encompasses the cultivation of resilience, self-esteem, and community engagement among all participants.
Our collective impetus is rooted in the recognition of the invaluable role sports play in personal development and societal inclusion.
Through strategic collaboration and a professionalized framework, we endeavor to democratize access to sporting opportunities, thereby fostering a more equitable and cohesive society.
Our collective impetus is rooted in the recognition of the invaluable role sports play in personal development and societal inclusion.
Programs
Our organization is committed to providing a diverse array of programs aimed at fostering societal inclusion and enriching the lives of children from financially challenged backgrounds who have a desire to participate in athletics.
